I think I am becoming a blog junkie. Obviously, not updating my own but reading other people's. People fascinate me. I could sit in a shopping centre and watch people for hours. No joke!
I love knowing how people think. How their mind works. Their ideas. Kinda cheesy, right? But I love it. Honestly, I do.
Maybe I should become a psychologist or counsellor of some sort... or maybe not!

So I started my new job on Wednesday. So far, so good!
There's 8 of us (1 male, finally someone to break up all the bitchiness, not that I've come across any yet) and they all seem like, good, honest, genuine people.
It took me a while to get used to the 1970's style telephone system, but I think I'm doing ok!
Will update more about my job/week next week....

Happy Australia Day!
Not a lot to say this week. So far its been average. Dying for the next two weeks to hurry up. Can't wait to catch up with Tuongie and Shell. And Tafe starts too... light at the end of the tunnel ;P

My week so far has been alright...
I've been talking to my cousin - by marriage, not blood - about working in Recruitment. She started off as the manager of Betts, applied for an Admin job at Job Prospects and 2 years later she is the manager! Gives hope to us all!!
There are 2 jobs going at Job Prospects at the moment and I have applied for them both. Fingers crossed I hear back :)

Happy New Year!
Well this is my first blog for the New Year and like I promised, I plan (note the key word - "plan") to update my blog once a week or two. I can be quite slack and I don't find myself interesting enough to write about :D I do however enjoy reading blogs. It's become one of my guilty pleasures!
Hmmm, seeing as it is the very beginning of 2010 I thought I'd write down some 'goals' or 'hopes' that I hope to achieve by the end of 2010...
1. Complete Certificate 4 in Business and then in Sem 2 complete the Diploma of Business
2. To have saved $10,000 to buy a larger car (I will take over Sean's Focus - booyah!) Sean is saving the same amount as well. It will be tough but I know we can do it ;)
3. To find a job in a Recruitment agency - whether it's Government or Private. My goal is to become a Recruitment Consultant.
4. To enrol in a HR course for 2011
So far that's it! I know they're mainly career-orientated but I have FINALLY decided after many years of being out of school what I actually want to do and it's soo exciting to be able to put it into action. I feel like a bit of a late bloomer!! I used to be soo jealous of all of the people in Year 12 who knew EXACTLY what they wanted. I used to think, "You're 17/18, and are in school, how can you possibly know what you want?". But I guess with me, I needed to have that break from study and work and find out what it really is that interests me. So watch out 2010, here I come!! :D

Whip It//Drew's dress
Right now I'm OBSESSED with Drew Barrymore. I've always been a fan but she seems to be all over websites and magazines at the moment. Anyway, I LOVE this dress. I don't care what anyone thinks. I think its the lace that got me! How pretty is Ellen Page! I'm not a fan of Drew's hair here, but ahhh, well!
Can't wait to see Whip It! Looks very funny.
