Weekend

Yaay! The weekend is finally here!

Last night I spent 1 and a half hours pulling strands of Rochelle's hair through a streaking cap only to find that Garnier provided a substantially insufficient amount of bleach. There was only enough to do at least 6 of the top rows! Poor Rochelle after enduring all of that torutre and to only have one quarter of her hair highlighted!! Ahh!!

My finger (ring finger) is still numb from the streaking hook I kid you not. I have NO feeling in it at all. Wonder what's going on!!

Also, I went to Big W , Gawler (they have better selections and is VERY neat and organised... better than the chaos that is Big W, Elizabeth) and lay-buyed Eclipse and Breaking Dawn and Sex and the City seasons 4, 5 and 6. Danielle at work told me that a lady who works at Dymocks said that stores won't be stocking the Twilight series after mid- August as they are putting them in packs of 4. That sucks cos I have already bought the first two. So I panicked and thought I didn't want 2 more copies of Twlight and New Moon!! Sex and the City was going for $18 per season so that's why I lay-buyed them. I do like SATC but I had always thought that $45-55 is pretty expensive for a season. Also, I bought Weeds. I hope I like it :)

So this morning I had my doctor's appointment at 8.10. I've got an annoying sinus infection and after 2 weeks of putting it off I decided to go to the doctor's and ask for a script for antibiotics. He then went off to inform me that he has had 2 Chinese patients in the last week that had complained of sinus infections only to find out that in fact rather than it being an infection, it was cancer!! "Arrgh, are you trying to give me a heart attack?" I asked him. He just laughed and stressed that I do not need to worry as I am not Chinese and do not follow a Chinese diet. Whatever that means!! Apparently its in the food that they eat. Hmm, interesting!!

So after chatting with my good old doc for half an hour I went to the centre and put my script in. Then I was off to Big W to see if they had seasons 1, 2 and 3 of Sex and the City. They didn't. Sanity did. But now I just need season 3 and I'm set!

I picked up the first True Blood book and had a quick skim. I'm not sure about it. I think I'll wait til I've finished reading the Twilight/Gossip Girl series before I start on it. A girl at work told me the book is all over the place. Hmmm!!

So now I'm contemplating putting the washing on and cleaning my disaster of a house before I go to the cinemas with Mum and Rochelle to see My Sister's Keeper.

Today...

So I watched half of the first season of Weeds.

I'm not entirely sure if I like it or not. I'm split 50/50. Is the first epsiode not that great or does it improve? Hmm...

My day was pretty average. Counting down to the weekend. Feel like going and doing a couple laps of the centre and buying things I don't really need!!

Okay, so this is my first ever blog and I have absolutely NO IDEA what to write. I kinda feel very Carrie Bradshaw typing up whatever it is that enters my head.

Hmmm, what to write...

Well so far I have had an alright week.

Monday was Sean's 22nd birthday. I bought him CK Be cologne, PJ's from Target (I wanted to get him Peter Alexander ones but he said they're waaay to expensive!!), Family Guy S7, 3 DVD's that I cannot remember the names of, the usual smelly stuff and lollies. I wanted to get him a Quiksilver/Billabong beach towel for football but the assistant said its the wrong time of year. So after that failed attempt, I offered him money as a substitute and he wouldn't take it!! Haha!!

Tuesday I went home sick from work. Having an off day. Nothing exciting like Swine flu!

Wednesday our gas stopped working. Turned out it was only the pilot light. We were freaking out thinking we'd be up for a new gas thingo. Rochelle was going to make us gnocchi. She even bought wine, but because the gas was out she couldn't make it so we ended up getting takeaway!

Last night I went out to dinner with my sister, Rhiannon. We went to Fasta Pasta at Gawler. I had a piece of the Mars Bar cheesecake. It is sooo good. You have to try it!

Today was a typical Saturday. Get up, do the washing, clean the house and go for a wonder around the shops. I decided to ditch the centre and go to Munno Para. I hate looking for a park at the centre on Saturdays.

So there is my week!! Nothing too exciting but I hope it keeps you up to date with me and my WONDERFUL life :o)
